Hello, Yong Lin hereee!!😊😊😊 Currently is the week 4 of our intern, we went for a three days trip to Frankfurt and it was great!
For day 1, we went to Römer as it was one of the recommended place that Google recommends. Upon arriving there, we spotted Christmas market there and we decided to shop there for a bit. Here’s some of the picture that we took below!
We bought some food to try like Kartopuffelpuffer (which is like hashbrown but with a garlic sauce at 4.50 euro), hot chocolate (which is so GOOODDD at 3 euro), Glühwein (which is popular for Germans to drink especially during Christmas at 3.50 euro). The taste is a sweet with a bitter note and we managed to finish one full cup each. and Peishan bought her candy apple at 2 euro to try!

For second day, we went to 2 museums, namely MMK Museum of Modern Art and Städel museum. If you are planning to travel by public transport a lot and visiting a lot of museums, we recommend you to buy Frankfurt card. It is available in one day or two day basis which allows you to ride unlimited public transport and some discounts on museums and even some food.
More information can be found in this link: https://www.frankfurt-tourismus.de/Informieren-Planen/Frankfurt-Card
We went to MMK Museum of Modern Art first and the price is 12 euro but with the Frankfurt card we got 50% discount which makes it 6 Euro. This museum is good and it even provides us with a book that has information of the art in English!

Right after, we head to Städel museum which is around 15 minutes walk from the Römer Christmas market. This museum is one of the top rated museum so we had to go. The entry fees is more pricey at 16 Euros but we managed to got the ticket at 14 Euro because of Frankfurt card again!
Although the fees are expensive, we do not regret as we spent around 3 hours there and we were fascinated by the drawing and back story of Vincent Van Gogh (Which is the exhibition at the point of time).
Last but not least, on the last day, we went to Frankfurt Marketplaz station and we walked around there to shop. For our lunch, we ate at a shop that is called La Baguette and it has 4.4 stars rating on Google hence we decided to eat there. We bought a set which consist of baguette, and it comes with a choice of chicken, tuna, calamari, beef, vegetarian and many more options. Besides that, it has fries, drink as a sides for only 6.50 euro altogether which is super worth it!😜👍

That’s it for our 3 days trip to Frankfurt!! We have holiday from now till Mid January so stay tune to more holiday trips from us!! See you next time.😂😂
